So u... I made another post a few weeks back... When I got a approval for Kay Jewlers..
I went to macys to buy some shoes... Not looking to get a card... And they sales rep offered...30% off if I was approved... I said no 3 times... Lol... Cuz I was scared I get denied... And my credit messes up cuz of points..
But I was approved... Another low cl...
But now I'm starting to feel like my credit is getting better...

You'll love the card and all the benefits it has to offer. Make sure you pay on time, don't go over the limit and they will increase your credit line in no time. You go it just in time for the Holidays, lucky you!

Congrats on your approval!! Macy's is good to its cardholders and it will come in handy with Christmas around the corner.
I hear they are pretty good with the CLI's every 3 months or so.

CLI Sucks When You Open Up Onlin on 2008-10-27
Called customer service and asked for an increase. Was told that because I opened my account online they will do ANOTHER hard pull on my credit. And then would only be able to get 100 increase at a time. This sucks

Never heard this before. Well because I still have faith and love for them, try going into the store and asking for one. They have better identity of you and the cli's are real good. I just went into the store and applied for a cli a couple of months ago, and "Baaam" $500 for me. Give it a try and let us know what happen.
I hope you did not take the hard hit, I don't see why they would do that to you anyway. I wonder if that was new rep that you were talking with! Hummm, it is something to think about.

Call Every 3 Months on 2008-10-27
Again... CALL every 3 months, preferrable the store located on the store which will automatically connect you to the customer rep..
they give good CLI every 3 months..
started with 600... Then after 3 months got 700 more = $1,300
then after 3.5 months got $1500 = $2, 800
and I don't think they do any hard pull..
when you call, ask if you're already eligible for a credit limit increase..
again 3 months!!
