Applied for this card after learning it's in the HSBC Family. I figured they know my history so approval would be at least the in-store card.
Got the MasterCard with $510 CL. Annual fee in my area $59. Please know, this fee is charged/deducted upon approval so your available credit will be -$59. However, if you choose to return/cancel it, this fee is also closed out.
Apply at the store to allow for a probable ID check with the HSBC account person over the phone.
When I was approved for this card...7/2008... I was carrying only House-Hold Bank and Capital One Platinum M. C.'s Credit score EQ 637, Chapter 7 BK 5/8/2003, 9 inquiries
