kellbell's review: Callout Comment Um, I have had this card for about 2 months. My initial credit limit was $300.00 w/ a $79.00 AF. I paid $50.00 of the AF and I get my second statement today. When I logged in...$600.00 LIMIT! It's not my highest limit, but it sure was a nice surprise! I thought HSBC was stingy with their CLI's! I guess I'll take this card out of the sock drawer!

Remarks Congrats! Just curious, were you in the same boat as me with the store card application (see my previous post)... Also, did you make any purchases on the card? Perhaps they are doing that so that you will make a purchase on the account.

Remarks HSBC is so f' ing stingy its not funny. I have had a Householdbank MC with them since 2002. Six F' ING YEARS! I have a $500 CL! NO JOKE! I really want to close this account along w/ my Orchardbank MC... They suck!

Sorry about the comments but I am kind of PO'd on how they treat the long time customers.

Remarks I too wanted the store card. I thought while I am on a roll after walmart I would try. Well I was declined for the store card but approved for the m/c with the $59 a/f. I don't know what my cl is but the 800 number to call customer service is the same one for Orchard. I called it and it began telling me my balance for my Orchard card. I hope I haven't messed things up. I will try later since it is 4:00 am and there aren't any csr's working anyway. Don't know my FICO either. Good night!
