chrispa's review: Callout Comment I had a redcard for 7 months and its at 500cl. And well I decided to apply for the Visa and got a "needs futher processing" I called to check status, and well got declined... Reasoning I already have a redcard with them... Maybe they might eventually upgrade me to a target Visa in the future...

Remarks Hi Chris.

From what I gather, Target usually upgrades you to the VISA card is you have a solid year of payment history and your FICO score has gone up. Not sure what the FICO criteria is though.

Remarks I agree with you Adicus, I hear a lot of people saying that they were automatically upgraded after 2 years. How long did it take you to get to $500? Or did you start off like that? I started with $200 a little over four months ago and I am still at $200.

Remarks I just went to upload my face picture on here and it said NOT APPROVED. Either I am too ugly or this site treated me like I had a credit score of 350 LOL

Remarks I got my target card in may 07, then in aug, they up my limit from 200- 500 in three months. I don't think they bothered to do a pull on my credit report. I think there system caught that I already have a redcard so it was a automatic decline, that's what the csr said declined due to having a redcard already...

Remarks Our $250 limit redcard was converted to a $2,000 limit Visa one year after our initial sign up. we just made our payments on time for a year.
