With my experience with ge money bank is it is very hard to get approved for this card, however if your scores were not too bad you sould have gotten approved for paypal credit account after denial with this card

Scores are not the only factor that creditors are looking for. Other factors can be:
1. Income
2. Credit History
3. Length of credit
4. Utilization
5. Inquiries
6. Recent new accounts
7. Total debt for all credit cards/charge cards/installments
8. Too many cards with the same financial backer
There are many more issues, but these are pretty much the main ones. I have seen inidviduals who has worse credit than me, and get approved for cards that will not give the time or day. Don't feel disappointed buddie, I would not be surprised if they sent you the card in the mail on the next try.

EBAY MasterCard/PayPal on 2008-04-01
Hi Meya,
Dont worry to much about being denied for this card. I was denied for the Ebay Mastercard but was approved instantly for the PayPal Account (which I didn't want) so I closed it out in a few weeks. I then realized I have the SamsClub Discover Card, Wal-mart Card, and one other GEMB card. I couldn't figure out why they denied me because my FICO score was a 734 at the time. But I then realized I already had 3 accounts with the same bank. I would suggest that you apply for the Macys Visa Card. It's my favorite.
