I needed some retail therapy last week so I applied for a card, approved! The limit is $600 and I received 25% off at the time. I had a card years ago but closed it after they dropped my limit from $1000 to $100. Hopefully they will do me right this time.

Grat's on your recent score with Macy's. As you know the discounts and rewards are useful. As to why your CL was decreased in years past seems to be a wonder. As I read around the web mysteries such as yours leaves many wondering why?

Update: I requested an increase online last month. They asked how much I wanted and I went for $2000. Approved, new limit $2600! Maybe they are making up for dropping my limit to $100with my old account several years ago lol. Glad this card is growing. I pay in full and use it every couple of months

Update: This card is great this time around. I have received several increases since my last post. My limit is now $16k and I was upgraded to the Macy Amex card.
