thelakes80's review: Okay so I was doing a credit check to see what accounts were open that were un active. Then I saw that I had a JCPenney account opened in 2007 with a 124 CL I was like why soo little. Then I called to verify if it was really open and it was so I ask for a card and after non usage since 2008 I made a purchase and it automatically boosted my CL from $124 to $1,000 I was happy for that. I will continue to use this card. It has good rewards.

WOW! Now that is what you call a credit line increase. In reading reviews at FG, it seems many times the department store cards starting CL's is conservative and then they open it up after four months or so based on usage and a payment pattern.

Yeah iv read that to, maybe the CL got so small because i wasn't using it, so maybe just to be safe they lowered it since there was no usage for about 4 years. I find GE a great bank because they alway approve me for any type of credit card issued by them.
