I live in MO, they pulled Equifax where my score is 650's. Said I didnt have enough of a revolving credit history- which I dont. I applied for a Cap one same evening and was approved. Guess I felt greedy. Anxious to rebuild.

Thats strange, ive always assumed hsbc to be easy to get

I heard they were easy to get as well. Not if you dont have some kind of revovling credit history. That was reason for denial.

Surprised. One thing... HSBC USA Credit Cards is being sold to Capital One FInancial and maybe things are in a transition?!

Didnt know that. Interesting this is Capitol One approved me with no revolving history.
