Denied for having too many revolving accounts. Currently have a walmart store card with 0 balance 575cl. I have very low util on all my cards. This was my second time app. I will not app anymore only reason I did in the first place is because they sent me an email asking me to app.

Surpised! Usually GE Money Bank is pretty reasonable about issuing JCPenney Cards. Give it a few months and try again. Others on this site have found hit on them often enough and they issue.

I applied after receiving a letter inviting me to do so. JCP gave me a very low cl but I was happy to have. I agree with the previous member, try again later, maybe see if they send you a letter. Sounds like you're on the right track with GE.

Hi, same here with the other comments mentioned do not give up eventually you will get the jcpenny card, In April I received a jcpenny card through a mail invite and I did receive the card, although prior I applied 2x for a walmart card and was denied, but last month I was approved with a $1,200.00 cl so I would say the 3rd try is a charm. This was my first card account. Trust me, getting denied isn't such a bad thing on this one!
