Decided to get this card to help with utilization.
Pulled Equifax which was only 581 (due to 70% utilization on other cards and everyone knows that is a no-no but I had recent medical bills.)
They gave me $1500. I'm not that into jewelry so I won't have any issues racking up any debt on this bad boy!

How About Bk7? on 2008-08-09
I need a card like this with a high limit to increase my availability and raise my score... How long ago was your bk Taynai? And what is your credit score may I ask? My bk 7 was 15 months ago... And with a card like this that wouldn't use that much it would help my score immensely if I could get it.

Congrats on the approval, but keep an eye on this one. I got this card back in January with a 5000.00 limit (my highest on anything at the time) and was soooo excited. Just to use it, I bought some earrings and paid it off. After I paid it off, it sat at zero for a while but then when I went on the mother of all app sprees they sliced me to zero with no warning for too many inquiries. Zero credit limit does not look good for utilization. I worked here briefly while I was in college and I know for a fact that they recheck your credit if you don't use th card reguarly. So it's a good idea to call the number before you go into the store to make a purchase to be sure your still in business or you could mess around and find yourself embarrassed!! Congrats, but if you intend to use it soon, be careful with app sprees and call the credit center before you go to make a purchase to be on the safe side. My Zales only gave me $750, but it's a firm 750 rather than a wishywashy 5000!!!

WOW!! I take it everyone is going to be buying a lot of bling-bling! LOL... Sounds like they are pretty easy to get approval from anyway.
