sg2416's review: Callout Comment First off I want to thank those of you have dedicated your time and efforts to help each one of us going through the rebuilding process.

I was approved for this card for $300.00 last night. I have been lurking around reading and grasping each review and comments. I have open a total of 5 accounts since I have found this forum in May 08. I know I have a long road to travel, one step at a time.

Listing of open accounts:

Bank of America secure card, not the 99/500 my deposit of $500

Avenue $250

Crown Jewelers $2500

Bank Loan $1000.00

Orchard 300.00

I really believe having the BOA card open other doors for me to walk through. I would like to have a Dillards and JCPennys card. I have not applied for them because I am waiting to apply in the store.

Again, thanks FG for all of the good advice you give us to follow.

Remarks Congrats on the new approval. Looking at the list of cards you have, you have only 2 cards that you can use everywhere Visa and Mastercard is accepted, have you thought about applying for a Capital One card? They grow with you and it's a very good card to have.

Remarks I am very happy to hear of your approval, hjm331 is correct, you did select the right card to rebuild your credit with. When you get a chance take a look at this link in regards to Crown Jewelers. I believe you are going to find some good scary info about them.

Remarks I hope this does not happen to me. Seems like when you turn the corner to get everything back on track there is always someone/something trying to prevent us from nudging a little closer to our goals. I will not use a debit or credit card to pay this account. I will hold on to it for a year and let it go. I truly hope this will not turn out to be a problem.

No, I have not applied for Cap1, soon I hope!
