marie's review: Callout Comment I transferred a balance from another card to this one that had a 0% finance charge. They never sent me a bill, either by regular mail or by e-mail. A month later I called to find out why I hadn't gotten a bill and they told me that the bill hadn't been sent out yet and that I would get it within a week. I registered online to pay and made a very large payment even before I got my first bill. A week later I tried to use the card and it was declined. When I called to find out why it was declined, they said I had never paid my bill from the month before. I told them that I hadn't gotten a bill and I called about it and they told me the bill hadn't even been sent out yet. They charged me a late fee and raised my finance charge from 0% to 17 1/2%.

I did file a formal complaint with my State Attorney General and we'll see what he does about it. Needless to say I closed the account and I'm warning you... Don't be taken in by those 0% come-ons. In this case they made sure I would be late with my very first payment so I would accrue high finance charges.
