casey's review: Callout Comment I have had this card since November 2005. It was my third after my bankruptcy discharge in 2004. I like my card very much, and have not had a single problem. I started at $250, and as of today my limit is $1100, so it will grow with you. I get an increase every 6 months, the first was $100. The second was $100. The third was $150. The fourth was $200, and last one, which I just got yesterday, was $300. All future increases for me will be $400. I called customer service one day to see how far this account can grow with me, and I was told it will grow to $2500 limit. There are no charges for increases, only the very first one. They charge $6 monthly fee, and a $50 annual fee, expensive I know... But I was grateful they gave me a chance, I will keep it out of loyalty... At least until I hit the maximum limit. Payments post next day, always available, $5 fee to pay online. Excellent on line account management. Customer service is always nice, and I can actually understand them. I can do better than this card, but I now have almost 3 years of history, so I'm not in a hurry to get rid of it... All increases have been automatic, I never had to ask for them. I get them right when my statement cuts, at the end of June, and the end of December. Great card!!! Thanks.

Remarks Your welcome... It really is a decent card. I like it so much because it grows with you... Like getting a reward for doing a good job... Those are the kind of cards I like... Good luck!!!

Remarks Sounds like for the most part your experience has been good, but be careful closing it. If you have had this card for more than 18 months, you will take a FICO point hit... If anything, keep it since it's aged, and use if ocassionally to keep it active... Those increases are being reported to the bureaus, and they like to see cli's... It does add some points to the score line

Remarks I don't have any intention of closing the card, it is one of my favorites... I use it often. I like it because I know exactly what to expect from them, everything they ever told me has been 100% true... But thank you for your thoughts...

Remarks I too have this card since 05/08. My current limit is $350, expecting another soon from what I've read. No problems at all w/Cortrust. I pay using my credit union's bill pay to avoid paying $5 through Cortrust's website.

Remarks Do you know what your credit score is? If your BK was THAT long ago, and you have a positive history with a creditor since then and you receive increases...then try Capitol one or Citi platinum select, both are meant to rebuild credit.
