wildrage2's review: Callout Comment I've had this card for 6 months. They charge you fees up the a**, even charge a fee to access your account online.

So far, every card that I've had for 6 months has given me a CLI. These fraud's sent me a letter Citing blemishes from my credit report over 5 years old as a reason to deny a CLI.

I've had the card 6 months, paid in full, or close to it, on time, every time. Credit limit at a measly $250.

All other crappy subprime cards gave me CLI: Continental Finance, Access, Rewards 660. AVOID FIRST PREMIER AT ALL COSTS!

Remarks In my experience they only give a cli once a year and I only received it when my account was at a zero balance. GL

Remarks That the Tribute card is the best out of all these cards.

Don't Blame The Card User Icon on 2008-05-20

Remarks I am sure that you have had problems with Premier but you can't expect Champagne tastes on a beer wallet. If you have a sucky credit score, you gonna get a sucky card. It;s the price you pay for being irresponsible financially. Pay the crappy cards on time and eventually you will dig yourself out of the hole and get better cards... Good lcuk bro... Tough love..

Credit Score User Icon on 2008-05-21

Remarks My credit score is now 635 from MyFico. I understand that its still kind of crappy, but I've gotten CLs that are more than quadruple what this card has given me. I'm also almost 100 points higher then the minimum recommended for this card. I have 6 months of good payment history, and yet they still mention credit problems from 5 years ago? I canceled the card last night. They offered me a $50 increase if I paid $25 and I laughed at them.

If people must get the bottom of the barrel subprime cards, go with Tribute. I also have had them for around 7-8 months, and I already got 2 automatic and free CLI's. From what I read, I will also get another $100 CLI next month.

Like I said, I got 4 very subprime cards, and this is the only one that wouldn't throw me even the smallest bone.

Remarks Their website promises a no-fee CLI of $50 if your first 2 monthly payments are received on-time. I guess they not only suck, but they are liars as well...

Been There Done That User Icon on 2008-05-22

Remarks I had one of their cards a few years ago when I was trying to rebuild my credit after a divorce. I had them for about 2 years and learned that they won't give a CLI unless utilization on the card is under 30% and you pay at least 25% more than the minimum due each month. Once you can get the balance down by paying significantly more than the minimum due, they'll give you a CLI of around $100 each 6 months. There is a catch, though... They'll charge you for the CLI and won't grant it at all if you pay one large sum to pay down the balance -- they want to see continued payments on the account to demonstrate you can handle making timely payments on an ongoing basis.

Remarks Its funny that you wrote tough love but you are just being a real moron. If you don't have anything decent to say then don't say nothing. If people want to vent about a whacked credit card it is there right. And if people are trying to rebuild what right do you have to make insensitive comments!
