Okay I had a First Premier card with about 6 months or less of positive credit history and nothing else. Other than that my credit was 100% blank.
They have excellant customer service, very nice people. The APR will never change under any circumstances and I can ask for a new credit limit increase every 90 days in $25 increments.
Free online payment options but can only be done 1 time per month. Free online account management 24-7 availability. 5/5 customer service. Reports to all three credit bureaus every 30 days.

Well stay with this card for awhile then apply to get a better deal at:
www.Capitalone.com and www.Orchardbank.com.

Once you get this card how long before they'll increase your credit limit? Do you have to call them or is it automatic?

Capital One are crooks and take advantage of anyone.
I have an orchard bank now, at the time I had already applied for one before I applied for this card and they would only approve me for a secured card. BOO!
Outsourced, no. The customer service is good if your never late the way you should be.
You can request the limit be increased every 90 days but you have to call. It is not automatic, and it takes about 3 days for them to determine if they will raise it AT NO CHARGE.

Wow then you are very lucky to have this credit card. But I still wonder if their terms and conditions could change anytime... Did you also check this with the company?
