john1979's review: Callout Comment Refinanced my car with USAA for 5.49% however I was 2k short on the LTV. CSR told me to apply for USAA MC and then I could do a BT for the 2K. I was approved instantly for 5K but didn't transfer the balance because there were no intro rates available( ex 0% for 12 months). So I ended up doing a BT with a pre-existing chase account for 0.99% for 10 months. Oh well I saved 2.5% on the Auto loan and now have yet another Mastercard. At least the cards I most recently applied for have decent CL's. Im contemplating closing orchard even though its my oldest card.(6 years) but honestly I have no need for the card. The interest rate is crazy, there is an annual fee and the credit limit(1400) is a joke. Any feedback will help. Thanks everyone!

Remarks Oh ok. I thought the limit was $5k, guess not. If you don't need the card, don't even keep it open nor pay them the AF.

Remarks I have had Orchard for over 4 years now and my limit is only $1300. I am getting rid of them as soon as I start to get my teir one cards. I don't care if my score drops, they can have this card back. It is not worth it especially when you have other cards twice orchard limit.

Remarks Hell Ya Meya, that's what Im talking about... I know a good place for Orchard to stick their card. It is the worst card, yet the oldest... Figure that one out. Plus if I cancel this one it will free up a HSBC account.(You know the 2 max HSBC accts rule) But chances are I will never get another HSBC acct. I have a BestBuy MC already so I think Im good. When the AF is due later this month Im dropping them. I can think of better things to do with the $49 annual fee!

Remarks Meya, ARod is right. Don't close this account since it is your oldest card since you started rebuilding your credit. You have worked hard for a great payment history and don't let it go down the drain. Just pay it off, don't use it, and put it away somewhere in your house.
