I applied for a cli increase and they said it will take 72 hours to make a decision I have never heard of that. I have heard of 7 to 10 days when your denied. Has anybody heard of this 72 hours review before

Hello Diva,
It's a basic stall tactic due to federal banking laws.
The CSR or automation cannot divulge any information regarding the credit decision unless they can provide you the reason(s) in writing.
Sometimes its nothing more than bank coding i. E. Account verification, fraud and/or recent account activity. Worst case scenario its a denial.

Sent me email said blah blah blah something about my account history with them but always pays on time and never late so I think its a bunch a crock and I always pay more the the min

Diva,
Contact the card issuers' Underwriting Dept. They can manually give you an increase without resulting in a hard pull. I have done this already after a making (4) PIF. Try it and keep us posted.
