APPROVEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!! For myself and my husband! But this forum doesn't have a logo for the MasterCard which is different than their Visa. We were approved for their MasterCard with substantial limits and rewards. Gonna cut up all those subprime ones that were great to get our credit started but after approval for 2 barclay brand cards we don't need them anymore.

I'm happy for your approvals. As a new Barclays customer who also transferred balances from subprime cards, I share your joy. A few notes of caution regarding Barclays: Keep the number of inquiries low; keep your utilization low; and pay more than the minimum. Barclays is known to frequently pull soft credit inquiries and anything that makes them nervous may result in a credit line decrease or even account closure. With that said, see my Travelocity posting below. I have no complaints thus far.

Congrats on the new cards! Juniper has been kind to me also. Be aware that Juniper sometimes unexpectedly does credit line decreases after you have been approved. So don't cut up your other cards, hang onto them as backups as long as they don't have much for fees. Better safe than sorry.

Welcome to the Barclays Family. I thought that Bank of America now represent this card, hum oh well, just glad you were approved. Tyra, I totally agree with you in regards to barclays/juniper limit decreases, they just got Deborah like that. I was so afraid until I stopped using the card. My limit is only $500 and if they decrease that, they could have the card back. I will even send it back FedEx.
