I just apply for this card having been pre-approved and getting letters in the mail I said what the heck I go ahead and apply online. My Fico score EQUIFAX 611,633 ? don't know the 3rd score. I am in the process of repairing my credit maybe I'll try again in 6 months or so. I also got a Capital one pre-approve in the mail too which states that I'll get a credit limit for $300.00 didn't apply for it. This would of been my very first c.c. I don't own any cards disappointed but there you have it!

Sorry to hear... you could call Discover and recon the denial. Sometimes they have some leeway once they understand the circumstances and sometimes they will tell you what you need to do so you could be approved. Might want to think about the Capital One card so you can start building credit the first year is slow but once the door is open and you have established a track record of performance lenders open up.
