samamelia's review: Callout Comment Well, 10-14 days for review... This is definitely NOT what I suspected... I don't know why I am even bothering... I just got a Torrid card... Which I know is only a department store card, but at least that was for $350.00... Anybody need a pair of shoes, I got u... LOL... AND I had to pay the processing fee upfront... None of the other reviewers stated they had to do that with Orchard... I would go to sleep if I wasn't at work...:(

Remarks You are going to be at the mercy of the subprime market until you rebuild with your present scores in the 500's. Creditors are wary (seems from posters on this site that things open up more when FICO Scores hit the low 600's) and your attitude on debt and credit usage will need to change (no body owes anybody anything) if you want to see prime cards. Orchard Bank has served many posters on this site well for a quality subprime rebuilder including me. Many rebuilder cards seem to keep low credit lines but, in rebuild it is a door openner. Many started with the subprime better cards and grew to the prime cards and later closed the rebuilders. Posters on this site have tried to advise the rest of us to stay away from the real subprime worst bottom feeders who really eat you alive.

Remarks I couldn't agree with you more Wanderer. Samamelia, Orchard was among the 1st creditors who picked me up when no one else would. Oohhh the 10-14 day statuses are going to be annoying, but would you rather see that or a flat out denial? It is going to take time to rebuild, but you are the one who is going to have to accept patience. Orchard is a very good card to apply for, I recommend this card to all re-builders. They have so many different card to apply for, so maybe the system put your status on hold until the credit specialist selects the best card for you. When you receive your actual result, come back and update us with the results. Until then take a look at the thread(s) provided below. Using "score match" is a good tool for members to use prior to applying for cards on FG. It will give you a window of selected cards that fit your current credit background. Hope this helps!!!

Remarks Have had this card for one year and never had a problem with them. I think people who have trouble with re-builder cards don't seem to realize that a very strict attitude towards paying every payment on time every time is the only way to re build their credit !!! I would recommend this card to anyone who is trying to rebuild their credit !!! Don't get me wrong, I know bad things happen to very good people as I have had them happen to me!!!
