I applied earlier today online only to get "Thank you for applying for a Kay Jewelers Credit Account. We were unable to fully process your request for instant credit at this time. We will notify you via US mail of our decision regarding your request for a Kay Jewelers account within 20 business days." I end up going to the store and the salesperson said he could get an answer in less then 5 minutes. To my surprise I received an approval with a $6500 limit. I've been re-building my credit since January of this year. My current FICO is 663, up 100 points from last year. I want to say thanks to this forum for the knowledge to get me back on track.
