Mike Yanda

I founded Finance Globe in 2005 and have been its original author and developer ever since. Over the years, I’ve worked across nearly every part of the site, including writing, software development, product research, financial data management and administration. Much of my work has involved partnering directly with banks and financial institutions to publish and maintain accurate credit card information, including rates, fees, offer terms and product details. That experience has given me a practical understanding of both the financial products consumers use and the data and systems behind them. As a software developer, I’ve also built dozens of public-facing financial tools designed to make financial information easier to understand and use. These include calculators, credit card reviews and comparison tools, as well as Score Match, which helps consumers identify credit card offers based on their credit profile. After more than two decades working with financial products, data and software, my focus with Finance Globe remains the same: provide useful tools and clear information that help people make better-informed financial decisions.
