Well, we should be teed off at Eve for eating that fig (or apple) in the first place, but jeers to Adam for being so p***whipped right off the bat and dooming the men too! LOL We could have had it all!!!

I have quite a few goals that I’m working towards. My first goal is to make enough money online to replace my income so I can stay at home to take care of my soon to be daughter. Then, I hope to payoff all my debt and rebuild my credit history. About 3 years after that, I hope to purchase our first house. I’d also like to go back to school and begin my career in graphic design.

This is the same thing that I said about Adam and Eve. I tell my friends, when this world is over, I want to ask God, "Before you send me to my final destination, can I see Adam and Eve?" When he show me them I just want to give them one good smack across the head, for commiting THE FIRST SIN!

Hmm, my goals are:

1.) A new car, preferably a Mitsubishi because I'm sick of faulty Fords and Crappy Chevys.
2.) A beach-house in Hawaii -- with a gorgeous pool in back for moonlight swims
3.) A 10-room house in Singapore -- with same kind of pool.
4.) An investment firm for helping people in the U.S. find funding.
5.) Two daughters.
6.) Becoming an American Expatriate and renouncing my citizenship.

Oh!

And I want to outlive Bush and Cheney so I can visit their graves and spit upon them with contempt. :fun:

Once when a person gets into a debt, his life becomes a hell. But it also teaches a lesson that how important for us to save our money rather than lavishly spending it.

I COMPLETELY understand this one...My life has been so much more difficult than it needed to be because of the bad decision/choices I made regarding credit. They say hindsight is 20-20 and that is so true! I used to be really depressed about my credit situation and then I said to myself, "Self :cheesing: you can change this if you want to...you need to stop crying about it, put your head down and go to work!!"
So here I am...
I am trying to teach my son about the MONUMENTAL importance of good credit and paying your bills on time. I haven't always been the best example of that but I am going to be from now on. He is 17 yrs old and got his first checking account last year...so far so good! I told him when he turns 18 (in two months) we are going to open a small credit acct for him (I'll probably try Crown Jewelers) and get his credit established the right way. So i guess that is my main goal...to teach my son the things about credit that no one ever taught me so he can have better financial smarts than I did!! :fun:

Right now my goals are:
1- To get completely out of debt (I have about $4,000 more)
2- Put as much money as possible aside to hopefully save up enough $$ for a down payment on a new house for when my boyfriend and I move to Chicago in a year and a half.

But I really need to get completely out of debt so my credit gets a little better so that we can get a decent morgage on a house.

I cannot save money but I have learned how very important it is to pay off all bills so they do not affect your credit especially a bank who can take away your right to have a bank account anywhere.

As you said, i wanted to rip off my bills in a faster way. Once when a person gets into a debt, his life becomes a hell. So one must be smart enough not to struggle after entering this part of life. But it also teaches a lesson that how important for us to save our money rather than lavishly spending it. Has anyone here learned anything from your previous experiences like this??

I think all of your goals are vetr attainable.Just save as much as possible and don't make useless purchases or splurge. I think paying off your debts first is a good step in the right direction.
