Replied by Wanderer on topic Re: Transunion Changes

Transunion that operates "True Credit" reporting switched to "Vantage Scores" by replacing Fico Scores effective to today Sunday, December 27, 2009.

GADS the score range is 330 to 990 and I came in at 760 Grade "C". No wonder I get online offers in the middle of the pack. OK but... also noticed that some of my over 20+ year old scores dropped off from my credit report (no actual account still in existence and my score dropped) and my length of credit went from 20+ years to 14+ years and I took another hit.

You wonder when all this effort stays and pays. Where is MEYA when I want to RANT! Is there no justice for those of us trying hard to make a new life. After eight years of the BK on my back it still haunts me for auto insurance along with employment and credit. GADS!!!

smcc - fellow FG Readers: Experian like Transunion has been evolving their websites. As of this posting I can now log on and order individual Experian Credit Reports. The new website is: " www.creditexpert.com " and it works. Go figure....

smcc - thanks... apparently the person (customer care specialist) I spoke with had no clue in solving my loggin problem and was interested in selling some other product. My situation happened after they did their system change (blocked me for reasons unknown) right after 12-20-09. Question is to find someone who can actually deal with the matter computer system technically. My other challenge is, the person I spoke with was from another country and I could hardly understand them. GADS...!!! RECON :upset:

Just went to Experian this morning (12/23) and they still offer the Credit Report / Score for $15 with no obligation for the monitoring services . Please let me know if I am wrong here because I would like to make sure too.

Fellow FG readers :

Today, I went to the Experian Credit Bureau to review my five day old three bureau credit report and they "upgraded" the site and I could NOT log in.

Called tonight and was referred to a new location titled "creditchecktotal.com" which was some form of replacement or what...??? In reading the info for I found that for only $19.95 per month you had Experian and other credit bureau reporting with monitoring. I informed the customer service person I only desired to order the three credit bureau report and after going in circles for five minutes I could not get access to my $39.95 report from Experian only the new online service.

GADS... I am mad. What happened to getting a credit report without monitoring services???!!!
