Can't argue with that.

This is the best route. AS long as we have a monitoring alert, I really don't see a need for daily pulls. Its like getting on a scale daily looking for weight loss....IT WON'T HAPPEN! If you keep looking daily, you will cause other things to happened DISCOURAGEMENT. That is the same thing that will happen by pulling your CB ever day, other things will happen, and it will cause DISCOURAGEMENT!

That is why I have stopped pulling my EX report every 3 days and now pull it once at the end of the month.

Glad you go the answer to your question. Looking at a split file is like walking into a land of headaches and dropped-mouths because that is exactly what you are going to deal with. I hope no one goes through that issue.

To answer the question to this topic, I believe that I was looking at two different reports. I believe I was comparing an Experian report with a TU report and since TU doesn't update as quick as EX, I thought I was looking at split files. It all makes sense now.

Let's keep it up bro, I am pretty sure you are going to shed some updates to us soon, the rest are scattered among your "Over 1k" posts. When you get a chance all eyes are open. Hey also, update us on the knowledge that you have learned from "Two different Reports" I am sure that you have answers for those who have read this thread. It's always good for us to throw answerers where we once had questions. Come on with it bro, you can do the rest over time.

Hey, I owe it all to Meya and the other members that posted valuable info right before I joined FG last year. I don't know where I would be right now, probably applying for new credit left and right and praying that I would get approved.

Look where you come from! And you thought you would never get this financially experienced huh? See everyone, this is what happens when we stick to our plans and our finances, this is when my lil bro was confused (or with credit questions) with credit until he found FG. Now he is up in here rockin with credit knowledge.

I just had to pull this one up bro, you are my hero!:white-flag:

thanks for the replies guys. I pulled my FICO score last week and it was a whopping 650 from experian, 614 Equifax, 656 TU. How can I improve my score? My credit is only 7 months old

You say your are pulling from two bureaus. Is it possible that you have a spilt file? this happens when too many pulls are posted to a bureau. They may be accessing two different credit reports. It is worth looking into.

Hi, I just started building credit and I have 8 credit cards.

Capital One Platinum-$750 CL (5 months, My oldest credit card)
Bank of America Student Platinum Plus Visa-$700 CL (4 Months Old)
Capital One Standard Platinum-$500 CL (3 Months Old)
Orchard Bank-$300 (1 Month Old)
First Premier Bank Gold-$250(1 Month Old)
Best Buy Mastercard-$750 (1 Month Old)
Best Buy Store Card-$1300 (1 Month Old)
Newegg Preferred Card-$2000 (1 Month Old)

So I use to different websites to pull my credit reports from and one of them being freecreditreport.com and the other being Bank of America Privacy Assist Premier.

I was looking at my freecreditreport.com credit report and showed that my Bank of America card has reported that I paid my bill on time for the month of November when my billing cycle hadn't ended yet.

I looked at the Bank of America Privacy Assist Premier report and they showed that the last time they report was in October which seems to make sense.

Another thing, Freecreditreport.com gives me scores for all 3 bureaus which are 718 Exp., 721 EQ, 721 TU. But when I check my Bank of America credit report. it doesn't have scores for me because they say my credit is too young to be scored.

So in other words, I don't know which report is accurate. Can somebody please help me out?
