Today Equifax started the new CREDIT LOCK SYSTEM. You can now log onto the equifax site and LOCK your credit report and scores. Then you can go UNLOCK your report, apply for whatever with a bank, then RE LOCK your report.

This is a fantastic thing thing started by Equifax, the others are to follow soon.

Now a thief can NOT go out and get credit in your name , as your report would be BLOCKED until you go unblock it.
