5 Items to Regularly Purchase with Your Credit Card

Do you have a credit card? How often do you use it? Can you earn reward points for every dollar you spend?

Like some, you may carry this for emergency purposes only. Others, however, have come to realize the benefits of using their credit card for a variety of purchases.

There are many items to regularly purchase with your credit card. This is particularly true if you’ll receive something in return, such as reward points.

Here are five items to consider:

•    Food. Since this is a regular purchase in your life, either at the grocery store or restaurants, you can rack up points on a daily basis.
•    Paper products. Toilet paper. Paper towels. Kleenex. You get the point. You purchase these items monthly, giving you the opportunity to earn more points.
•    Car insurance. Some people pay for this each month. Others pay for it every six months. Either way, it’s a big purchase that can help you grow your reward point balance.
•    Baby supplies. This doesn’t work for every consumer, but if you have a baby it’s something to consider. From diapers to formula, you’ll always find yourself in the market for something.
•    Office supplies. Do you own a small business? If so, you know that buying office supplies is a task that never stops. Using a credit card allows you to remain organized while earning points along the way.

Let’s put it this way: if you can purchase it, you can use your credit card to do so.

Make a list of items that you regularly purchase. From there, decide if you should use your credit card to make the transaction.
