Based on the FICO score recommendation, applicants should have a great credit record. A FICO credit score of 709 is recommended for a higher chance of approval for the Discover® Student Card - Clear, but is not required. The grace period listed for the Discover® Student Card - Clear is at least 25 days*. So interest charges will not be applied during those days.
