We opted for the diesel Cruz for the mileage benefits but wondered about maintenance and repair of a diesel. We took out an extra policy with the car dealer so that we could get the diesel repaired if it became necessary and it did. Best money we ever spent! We love the diesel but the expense of repair is too high.
