Everyone, I wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all, I hope everyone's travels are safe. Here in the Northwest we're expecting a lot of snow in the next 24 hours, fortunately it won't interrupt my plans. My plans, or should I say duties are work — there's always patients in the hospital. :cmstree:

Wow, this is our 3rd "Happy Thanksgiving" here at the Finance Network! Well this year I have my mom here for all the cooking, I am going to lay back and smell all the turkey and dressing aroma float through my house while I just sit back and cut up the spices. As usual, we are going to have:

1. 20 lb Turkey
2. Honey Glazed Ham
3. Baked Mac and Cheese (old school style)
4. Baked Cinnamon Yams
5. 8 Bunches of Mustard & Turnip Greens
6. Dressing with Gravy
7. Funfetti Cake (for kids)
8. Sweet Potato Pies
9. Potato Salad
10. And a guaranteed 10lbs weight gain

I wish you all a very nice Happy Thanksgiving and safe trip for those who are traveling.

Even if it's the day after hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!

I am just waking up from a food coma here is what was on the menu:

Turkey Wings
Saugage Dressing
Leg of Lamb
Candied Sweet Potatos
Mashed Sweet Potatoes
Five cheese macroni
Collard Greens
Fried Chicken
String Bean Cassarole
Apple Pie
yellow cake
ice cream
Sweet potato pie

Then I had the nerve to roast a turkey today (only because the DH wanted one) :cheesing:

Hey Meya, Here in Atlanta, its a Domino's Extravagana Pizza (Deep Dish) and a Domino's hot Italian Sub ! Give it all up Meya for an In-n-out Burger !

Gotta get back to the East Bay !

Happy Thanksgiving all !

Pizza, I can feel the heartburn coming.
Hey but guess what, we now have a In and Out Burger in Daily City, California, which is about 8 miles from me. I see it when I am on my way to the mall. I went there and ate their food but I had to wait so long for it. I tell you what I did enjoy while I was in Texas, that was the "Whataburger" ummmm, it was off the chain. Dairy Queen was good also, I used to love the Chicken finger basket and the dude burgers. It was a dude burger or sandwich right?

Sometimes we forget how fortunate we are, i.e., a roof over our head, food in our mouth's, a full time job, part time job, or working in any capacity, the ability to pay our bills, and to share information financial and otherwise with the people here at FG.

Posting of the week :white-flag:

Oh yes, the Lord is forever #1, and being around my FG family. One day we will have a virtual cook out.

How does a double-double with animal style fries and a large chocolate shake sound right about now?

COLONATIVE, they have migrated here to Atlanta too, more than you think and all with the same reason, "No jobs back home and cheaper to live".

If they can have a Fatburger restaurant in Cincinnati then there should be IN-N-OUT's in the South !

Now I really want to go back to the East Bay

I have heard that, in fact I know a guy from CA who moved to GA. We get a lot of Texans too, feel a little bad for the Texans because of the increase in housing prices. We have Fatburger here, but they don't compare to the In-And-Out, yummmmmmmm-o.
