I totally agree with Commerce Secretary Gary Locke that it is "another welcome sign of economic recovery."

It's really hard to say, but I would have guessed that it would've been really ugly with the storms. I mean even Florida had snow. I'm just ready for some good news. Hopefuly the numbers are accurate enough and sustainable.

Mary T - should I go on one of my economic "rants"...? I just finished thirty-five years in government and politics dealing with all this and it is hard to know what is really happening. Read the Wall Street Journal (get a version), then read Barron's (get a version), read Money (get a version), then for a down to earth look and read US Today... Who do you believe...?!
