This is probably a stupid question, but what does BK mean? I am seeing it all over on this forum and I have no idea what it means. HELP<

BK means Bankruptcy and no it's not a stupid question.

From what I hear, Citi and Amex is not bk friendly.

Does anyone have a clue about Home Depot and Sears?? Can't find out anywhere if they accept a BK or not.

Right now I'm in cool out mode with my new accounts I opened up. However I am preparing to app with CCCU & Paletco in the next couple of months or so. They give great limits with prior bk. It has also been highly recomended to app with local credit unions.
