Hi everyone,
After reading about everyones luck with hooters fever! I decided to get on board and apply. I received the same 7-10 day message about approval after I applied on 10-23-08, after which I phoned in to inquire today and they said I was approved with a $600 cl, which I'm just fine with, although I was hoping for a lot more since my new AMEX card is more, but I'm lucky I got the card! Yay for me!!!

Congrats on your approval, and welcome to the Hooters family. If you don't mind me asking, what was your scores around the time? This will help out when others decide to go for it. Also, add it to your reference of application statuses. Look over to your right, and you will see "All applications status" click the link and go for it... Lol. Congrats again!

Cant Beat Being Rewarded With Food on 2008-10-27
Congrats on your new card, I have had no issues and use it all the time now. Paying online is also very easy.

Thank you very much everyone!! Sorry about not mentioning my scores, it must be my old age. Well my scores on trucredit are 550 562 and 559 I then went to myFICO and got my trans and exp and they showed a lot different 635 and 626, I also recently was approved for the AMEX green, I have had a new car auto loan for the past 3 months, (recently paid off my old car loan)also I have a secured orchard bank, best buy MasterCard, and my fiance added me to her discover so I can pick up her good credit which is from 98 =) I'm on the road to success!!!

Thank you for the welcome everyone! Just got my hooters card today and Im a little dissapointed with the terms but cant be to picky I guess. Annual APR is 25.9% and annual fee is $72 and CL is $600 that annual fee really kills it for me, I didn't realize they had such high annual fee's Im wondering if its possible to call and complain and get it knocked down?

Some of the Hooter's cardholders have annual fees that are divided into 12 months. This is very important for Hooter card holders who plan to sock drawer this card with a zero balance. If you have the annual fee/12 months you will be charged per month for it. Not paying the fee due to because you were not aware of it, will cause you to become late on a card that you had no balance on. You don't need this especially in the corrupted economic and credit crisis. That will be a hard come-back from "Late Fees!" on your cr. Please double check, I advise this for all Hooter Cardholders, this is nothing to play with.
