I just applied for this CC on a boredom whim. I had been reading that they pull Experian, and this morning I paid MyFICO.com to find out my real Experian score to be 655 in lieu of Experian's FAKO Creditexpert.com score of 566.
Anyway, I have an AMEX in my wallet!! Woo Hoo!!

This has to be the easiest AmEx card to get. I was approved for one with a score lower than 600. I too was in shock and awe. But heres the kicker, keep your utilization low, don't have your scores fluctuate, because AmEx wastes no time to decrease your credit limit. I would say make only purchases that you can pay in full. Ive learned from that.

Congrats on obtaining your AMEX. Remember to keep your utilization low on all your cards or they will do a credit limit decrease

I am very please to hear that you were approved for the Gold Skymiles. I agree with MrRob, please keep the util low on all cards including this one if you don't want them to do a freeze on you... Lol

Congrats on Amex, I agree with MRRob, and Meya. Keep utilization low on all tradeline accounts. Amex is notorious for following your credit reports even monthly to check on you... And, they will decrease your credit limit like lightning!!
That can bump up your utilization on total credit lines if they would.
