danny's review: Callout Comment Went onto the apple website to see the latest in tech toys. I liked the new iPod Touch. Saw the Visa application on the website and decided to apply. Was approved instantly. The application allowed me to make a purchase immediately. Bought the iPod Touch. Waiting for the bill to pay it off.

CL: $500

APR: 22.74%

Remarks This card is great me and my wife have this card. We both love it...

but one thing the APR. Is high but we have it just in case since we are both apple crazy...

but overall it's a good card.

Good luck,

Alex

Remarks Congrats on getting the card! I am waiting for my accounts to age more and my credit score to go up some more before I consider getting this card!

A Card I Like User Icon on 2008-06-15

Remarks I like this card because of the account rewards, I don't have this card (applied 12/2007 declined) but it looks pretty awesome because I buy a lot of music on itunes. Maybe next year I will apply again for it.

Remarks I wouldn't use that card unless they raised the CL and lowered my APR. That's just unacceptable.

Increase The CL User Icon on 2008-06-16

Remarks With a $500 limit?

how do they expect the card holder to buy a macbook or a macbook PRO?

I don't know... But ti think they should start their CL with at least 1500 to make it reasonable to buy a laptop.

if you're going to get a hard inquiry... For what? A ipod?

it doesn't add up.

RE: Mark User Icon on 2008-06-16

Remarks That's a really good statement you made right there. Not all applicants for this card will end up buying an iPod. Some of them will be hoping to buy a macbook, iMac, etc. I believe that Apple should look for a different underwriter for their card like HSBC Retail Services because they are very generous with CLI's on store cards including the Best Buy store card.

Remarks I love my ipod, but I have to wait a good year or more before I can go and get an iTunes Visa card. Need some inquiries to fall off and cards to age.

Remarks Yes, this is my first account with Barclays. I've been trying to get the US Airways Card but keep getting declined. I have airline miles with US Airways and want the card so I can merge my membership and miles onto the credit card account. BTW they have sent me pre-appovals for the card and still a no go.

Remarks This is the card that is now backed by BOFA! If you do not have good credit, I would just say leave them alone for right now. Bofa is buying barclays ank cards. So far, bofa have not bought Travelocity nor Carnival Seamiles Mastercard, I am not for sure how long it will take. There is a link started on this in the network at:

I think it will be really benificial if you would take a look at it when you get a chance. Also add some comments there.
