Said you needed a 620 for the US airway card with the one @ 49.00 annual fee. I know all Barclay cards pull from TU and mines was 641. Too hard to have more than one Barclay account. Either they will say NO or sufficient credit on the juniper...

Try A Different Card

Not sure why they wouldnt approve you for this card. I dont bank with Barclay but I've heard they give really good rates, if your beacon score was 20pts higher than the recommended score, then the only thing to conclude is having multiple accounts with them. I guess their limit is 2 cards or less. Similar to BofA which also backs FIA. I applied for the BofA American Express card and was declined stating I had sufficient credit available on my other accounts (Mastercard Plus/ Merrill Lynch VIsa), so I got declined to convert my card to the American Express for a lower rate. I also applied for the Fidelity Visa and was declined recently for the same reason. The letter head listed Bank of America/ FIA Finance. I guess they are one the same. I say try a different card, like the Hooters Mastercard, I just got approved with them and my rate is 14.20%. Rockin35!

I was declined this card for the reason you just stated. I hav the Travelocity MasterCard and this card has been sold to bofa. When I applied, it was Barclays, I don't even try to attempt to apply since it is bofa... Ooohhh nooo. That is a true set up for failure on my behalf.

Oh Yeh on 2008-04-23
I was declined on this card about 7 weeks go... Forgot to tell ya all. By TU was around 525 at the time, now my true Fico is 589 w/TU.

I was declined for this card about a month ago. My scores were tetering on the high 500's to low 600's at the time.
