I applied for this card and had to send in proof of my identity b/c of a fraud alert. I got a $750 credit line and 0% apr until Oct 08. How does that new program work with the cli if anyone knows reply please. When should I request my first cli with capital one this is my lowest cl, but I heard this was a good company.

You should be receiving a letter in the mail stating that you will be eligible for a CLI if you make your payments on time for the first 90 days (first 3 billing statements). You also have to NOT go over your limit or else they won't give you a CLI. It's pretty easy actually.
So in order to receive a CLI, you have to do the following for the first 3 billing statements:
1. Make your payments on time
2. Don't go over your limit.

Here's a nice little trick. Call the Luv number when your third statement cuts, they will most likely double your current limit. Then when your 4th or 5th statement cuts you'll get that automatic increase that you will find out about in the letter coming to you.

Back Door Number! on 2008-04-22
When I found out about the backdoor number last month I called and they increase both of my cards. Also this month they gave additional credit increase automatically this month!!! I love Capital 1
