I applied for this card last night, was told to call into verify identity. The call took all of 2 minutes and was given an initial credit line of $15,000. I have never had much luck with Citi as most havent since there in a credit cluster right now, but I guess looking at how I handle credit with banks like BOA, CHASE, DISCOVER they wanted my business

Congratulations on such a nice opening cl!! Citi has been very generous with me, and I think they're customer service is oustanding. Also, sign up to Citi, they have a luv button. They do require you be a card member for at least 6 months, but I've heard they are wonderful with cli.

Thanks for that info, my dealings with Citi have been limited to student loans and a student credit card here and there. I lost love for them when my identity was stolen and some maxed out the cards, then it was like root canal without painkiller to deal with it. Hopefully this time around it will be better. I did like the 0% for purchases & balance transfer for 1 year.

This card is very hard to get you need a FICO of 775 or higher and I know only one person that has this card my brother with a credit line of $26,000 but he has a job that pays over 120,000 so yes this is for excellent credit.

I agree alex I was surprised when I did get it but they were able to verify income over 150,000 no lates or baddies so they went ahead and approved it.
