doneros's review: Callout Comment Ive got FICOs of 595 EQ 617 EX & 629 TU with 6 cards paid great, but 4 collections and 80% utilization. Surprised was I when the Capital One Lab approved me for $500 at 12.4% - annual fee $29. I asked them to payoff $300 to Orchard who had stuck me with a 27.99 Universal Default.

I still wont believe it until the card arrives or Orchard receives their check - which ever happens first; was just approved on Jan 30th.

Remarks Your balance transfer is going to happen pretty fast. I used Cap1 platinum MasterCard to pay off one of my credit cards before and because I had a 0% offer. The only thing that made me mad was that I only had one card was a balance on it. You know what, I think it was Orcchard... Hehehehehe.

Why did Orchard put you at a Universal default? Cap 1 do not put you in universal defalut simply because you

1. Was late less (than 2x's per year)

2. Defaluted with another creditor

3. Went over the limit

I believe you made the right choice by applying to them.
