I recently applied after making an airtran reservation and it popped up that I was preapproved so I was thinking it would be like a 4th credit card and I was declined because I had a high use of credit cards currently so even if you pay them off at the end of each month they can still say you have a large balance so I recommend to keep all credit cards balances lower than 40% of credit limit if you don't want to same result ! Good luck to all

Yea you are right about running up 80% of your balances and paying them off like that because of the time they report it to your credit bureaus... Signature Visa cards are the hardest to come by because only like 5-10% of all Visa are signature... Its the elite of Visa cards.
