bizz's review: Callout Comment I have not had any negative credit reported on me since 2001, but I have had my accounts sold and my old old accounts keep reporting me. So I now have 592 score. So I got some really pricey type cards and am working on them. They show paid on time for 3 months so far etc. OK I disputed 1 thing on my credit from 2001 which I have proof the apartments that turned it over to the attorney were wrong, as the damage they claimed I caused I have proof I didn't cause, with the walk through report from before I moved in. So after the dispute on that public record/collections, it said checked and lowered my balance they claim I owe from 2225 to 222. Still they claim I owe and they did lower what I owe but it didn't help my report however. THIS is what confuses me about the TARGET REDCARD. I have been approved for 1500 with Wamu and 300 with capital One and yet still denied with target. Nothing against them BUT I have just under 600 for FICO and there is NOTHING bad since 2001, have never filed BK or anything. I get Visa and Mastercard offers, and yet cant get a Target card. I don't understand it.

Remarks Target Bank is very selective for the card they offer. Let's see, a high APR, skimpy on the rewards, but a great credit record of around 670+ is what I see. They are picky in my book. Better to go with a Visa/MC that offers the same rewards with a higher credit limit that you are likely to be approved for.
