I wene to AE today to pick up some winter outfits. I swore I wouldn't apply for yet another credit card since I have to many as it is. The girl helping me was super nice and helped me the whole time. So when she asked she said I would get 15 percent off my full purchase. I spent about $232 so it would be more than a $20 savings. I know that they have a quota for those cards so I said heck why not. I got approved for the AE Visa with a credit line of $5,500. I thought that was a generous amount of credit for a department store credit card. The card is through Syncrony bank I have a few other cards with them (wal mart credit card, rooms to go credit card) and those cards have generous credit lines as well. Not sure what bureau they pulled yet I checked my experian report already and they didnt use that one so either Transunion which I have a 752 or Equifax which is a 754.
