brian's review: Callout Comment I applied for this card online last week. I was interested in the travelocity card because I have a travel account already but saw an annual fee. I decided to try orbitz because they do not have an annual fee and are basically the same ala the circuit city/best buy of travel bookers. I was instantly approved, my limit is low and apr high because I bought a new truck after 6 dealerships and 29 inquires! I couldn't believe it! This is one of two cards I picked up before that truck hits my report. I'm done with cards for awhile whether I want to be or not because of it so I went out with a bang and accepted the two no annual fee rewards cards. I figured if I'm going to use it, I want to get something on the back end. Also, my card is blue not black, which is the one on orbitz.com. I believe this card pic is old. Tip of the day is that getting rewards cards with 0% apr on balance transfers is easier than getting 0% apr on purchases and cash advances are even harder to get. The bank risks more with the upfront cash and waits longer to get money from you on the purchases. With only balance transfers at 0%, you run right into your standard apr from the first purchase. I would have taken the other route but wanted to get something in my wallet before that massive truck bill hits the credit report.

Remarks Hey Brian, got good news for you. Within 30 days your credit report will chop all those inquiries up to one because they know that you were out looking for the best deal. Make sure you take a look at your credit report 30 days later, if they are still on there, call in and dispute 28. I bet you they will do it for you.

Congrats on the new card regardless to what the limit is... Lol

Remarks Shopping for a mortgage or an auto loan may cause multiple inquiries to your credit report from different lenders, even though you're only looking for one loan. To compensate for this, the FICO scoring system will ignore all mortgage and auto inquiries made in the 30 days prior to scoring. So if you accepted an offer and obtained an auto loan within the same 30 days, this will not affect your score.

Hope this helps.
