Remarks Your numerical score isn't the only factor. They also take into consideration your debt to income ratio along with other criteria. Each company is different...but I know for a FACT if your debt to income ratio shows a high utilization, this causes declines as well.

Remarks My scores range from 665-675 and they won't approve me either. I'm just going to wait awhile and apply for a better card, such as Discover More

Remarks I didn't mention that it wasn't this exact card I have applied for...the only card they'll approve me for is a secured card

Re: Why User Icon on 2011-09-21

Remarks My scores are 740+ with all 3 CB, and Cap One declined me bc of the ONE and only collection account with any of the 3 CBs - which is 6 1/2 years old... Luckily since then, Citi has given me 2 platinum/world cards, and I've also accumulated a Discover, Chase Freedom and USAA world CC. Shame on Cap One. (Greedy losers!)
