hammer23's review: Callout Comment As part of my card gardening I applied for a Discover card, I was declined for the Motiva, but offered this card instead. The information said there would be no additional hard pull. There was not any information listed in reguards to fee / rate. Since there is no additional hard inquiry I accepted the offer. I do not know the limit / rate / fees yet, but will update once I get the card... Pulled EFX 656 score.

Remarks Your credit score is pretty good, I don't think you will have a problem getting it. Just keep your fingers crossed.

Remarks Update, called in, credit limit is $750 which is low. They did not tell me the rate or the AF, said it would be on the mailer and I could chose to accept or decline at that time.

Remarks Thats pretty good for a HSBC issued card. Don't worry I'm sure that within a year or so you will receive a Discover pre-approval letter in the mail. Congrats

Remarks Congrats. Your patience and prime cards will be yours. Remember... HSBC USA is being sold to Capital One Financial and your new card issuer will ultimately NOT be HSBC. Is this and improvement...? Personal opinion!

Remarks Have this card also it is now with cl of $2000.00, no problems at all. Rewards are a joke but card is a Discover and will have to see what Cap One does with it next year. Congrats.

Remarks Got the card yesterday. 6.15% intro rate for 6 months, then 21.99% Has an Annual Fee of $39. I called HSBC to cancel the account since I have a couple of cards with no fees. HSBC agreed to waive the annual fee and take the intro rate to 2.9% for 6 months. I'll keep it for the moment and see where it gets me. Since Capital One is taking over HSBC, this will put me at 4 cards with them (BBY Reward M/C, Direct Rewards Discover, Cap 1 Platinum, and Kohl's)
