hjm331's review: I received an email from Citi today stating I have been approved for this card for a credit line of $1,200.00. I was hoping for a a higher credit line because I wanted to do a balance transfer from a credit card with a high interest rate. I know that Citi is good with credit line increases so hopefully I will be able to get some increases along the way to take advantage of their 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers.

Congrats! Don't take it to heart because they are lending on the tighter side for now. Just build your status with them and a CLI will be on the table sooner than later!

I had a secured card with them for 2 yrs and they didn't budge when I asked for an increase from $400 so I ended up closing them. Nice to see them letting me back in.

Congrats! You are working yourself into the main stream. This is a good card. Citi invited me after a couple years with this card to add the Citi "Thank You" Mastercard to my portfolio. It takes time with them (two years for me).

Congratulations. It is nice to be approved for something although I hope you got a good interest rate otherwise I'm not so sure I would accept the card. CITI is a great bank I recently got approved for the CITI dividend student visa with a $1,500 CL and the Discover student more with a $1,000 CL.

They're currently offering 0% on purchases and balance transfers which no one can compete with as of now.

That is very good. I personally love Citi bank that seem to be a great company and very good with credit limit increases. You should have no problem getting one soon. Good luck
