Got approved, low credit limit(320) only problem is the 2 week hold on your payments. Paid via bank transfer, asked why it wasn't posted, just was told would be a 2 week hold on payments. Anyone have any idea how to avoid this?

Orchard was my first card, have had for about 7 years now. I always pay online and the payment usually posts in 2 days maximum. Sign up to pay directly from your Orchard credit card account. I don't know why they would hold for 2 weeks. Could it be your bank?

One card I have, Public Savings Bank, does not post payments over $100 for 5 days. I make all my payments in increments of $99 or less to allow the credit to become available the day after I pay it. I always read my agreement letters from front to back so that I know what I am getting myself into. It should disclose how payments are taken.

I pay via their website, www.orchardbank.com---logging into my account and have never had a hold on a payment...
