I was checking out and the clerk told me I could save 20% by applying and getting approved. It took just a few minutes and whalla! Approved on the spot with a 2,500 limit. It did however take 9 months to finally get a card! I had a printed code that I used that had a special number that the stores could use to charge. Very strange, coming from such a large store and bank!
I'm not sure about the APR, because I pay my balance off monthly. My scores were all around 700-730.

Thanks! I don't plan on using it for anything but Macy's. Their reward offers seem too good to pass up. Hopefully this will get my credit utilization % down.

With regards to utilization if you have the store card unfortunately utilization with this card is worthless as it does not report any credit limit balance to the credit bureaus anymore unless you have the Visa
