I just applied on-line, after I used the pre-approval screen, when trying to get the secured card. I got approved for a $300 limit. I only have a First Premier Card (that I love) and I just completed bankruptcy in Sept. I have applied for a "real" card in the past and I was denied about a month ago.

Congratulations on the card. Those pre approval cards that you can see if you qualify for are a nice benefit. I got my Cap one card 8 or 9 months ago. Great company

I was denied with a 561 FICO. But, my score keeps getting better and better with a BK7. I was 493 a few years ago. It appears Captil one likes scores 580 and above. This was one of my first cards when I was 18. Loved it. Got a $500 limit with no history, at all. I will reapply maybe later in the year. Wish me luck, lol.
