michaelum's review: Callout Comment I have had a bad experience with Barclay's Bank and the HAA Mastercard. Recently I found out that Barclay's did not credit a payment of over $1000 ten days after receiving it. The payment paid my balance in full as of the day I received it. But since they never credited it to my account, they billed me for a being behind in payments ($39) plus interest. As soon as I discovered this, I called their Philadelphia office and went round and round with them. After about 20 minutes I logged on to my bank account and downloaded a copy of the canceled check, which I immediately faxed to them in Philadelphia. They said they would correct the problem. The next day I received a phone call from their collection agency in the Philipines dunning me and making the same claim of late payment. That was too much. I called their Philadelphia office and canceled the account. I suggest that you find another bank to handle your World Mastercard, if you want one.

Remarks Thanks for sharing with the rest of us. I closed my accounts that had Barclay's involved. What ever happen to good old fashion card stability, solid customer service with people that are NOT outsourced. I miss the old days. Yes, there were lower credit lines, higher interest and I could count on them?!
